In Colorado, 76% of inmates have a moderate to severe need for substance abuse treatment. One of the programs funded by the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) to help link this high volume of offenders with substance abuse treatment is the Colorado Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities (Colorado TASC) program, administered by a contractual relationship with Peer Assistance Services, Inc.
